TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
1. Introduction
Business Name: Echo Darkroom
Purpose: These Terms and Conditions protect both Echo Darkroom and its clients. By booking with Echo Darkroom, clients agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Payments
Reservation Process: All bookings must be made via Setmore and are confirmed only after payment is completed.
Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of booking. Any additional charges (e.g., paper purchases or overtime scanner rental) incurred during the rental period will be invoiced and must be paid within 24 hours. Echo Darkroom reserves the right to withhold scanned files until full payment is received.
Pricing: The most current prices are listed on Setmore. Prices seen elsewhere may be outdated or incorrect.
Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellations made 72 hours before the booking start time will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 24 hours before the booking start time will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking start time are non-refundable.
To reschedule a booking, please notify us as soon as possible via info@echodarkroom.com. The latest rescheduling time is 6 hours before the booking start time.
If the client does not show up and cannot be contacted within one hour after the booking start time, it will be considered a cancellation with no refund or rescheduling.
3. Usage Rules
Access: Clients may access and leave the darkroom and warehouse freely during their rental period. Keys, if required, will be provided at the start of the booking. Clients also have access to the communal gender-neutral bathroom, fridge, kitchen, and dining table.
Cleanliness: Clients must keep the darkroom clean and remove all belongings and rubbish upon departure.
Prohibited Activities: Vaping, smoking, and eating are prohibited in the darkroom and desk space. Vaping and smoking are allowed outside the building, and eating is permitted at the communal dining table.
4. Liability and Insurance
Liability Waiver: Echo Darkroom is not liable for any accidents or injuries occurring during the use of the darkroom.
Insurance: Clients are responsible for their own insurance for activities.
Damages: Any damages to photographic equipment must be reported immediately. Clients should not attempt repairs. If damages occur due to unsafe or irresponsible behaviour, clients may be required to pay for repairs or replacements.
5. Health and Safety
Clients are responsible for managing health and safety risks associated with colour darkroom printing processes. Clients must follow instructions and act cautiously.
6. Privacy and Security
A security camera in the darkroom will be on at all times for the safety of clients and property.
7. Termination and Suspension
Breach of Terms: Echo Darkroom reserves the right to terminate bookings and access if the client breaches these terms.
Immediate Termination: Theft or intentional damage to equipment will result in immediate termination of access.
8. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Victoria's courts for matters related to this Agreement.
9. Amendments
These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. Please check this page before making any bookings.
